Western-Cullen-Hayes Crossing Gate Mechanisms feature a redesigned permanent mold, aluminum case and cover.
This new, larger case permits easier installation, maintenance and inspection of the mechanism. The cover
has three point adjustment and an integral rain lip for a better seal.
Western-Cullen-Hayes Gate Mechanisms have maintenance free, sealed bearings on the main and gear shafts. Field proven designs for the motor, gear train, hold clear device and circuit board remain. These key components have made Western-Cullen-Hayes the most trusted and reliable name in Crossing Gate Mechanisms. |
The 3590 Series Gate Mechanisms will operate the longest gate arms currently manufactured, when properly counterweighted.
Both single and double end main shaft models are available. Sidewalk arm kits may be added to any of our mechanisms, either in our factory,
or at your site.
Circuit controller cams and contact springs are conveniently located and easily adjustable. Hold clear locking pawls are reversible for economical service life. Motor operating voltages are 12 or 24 volt DC. External power supplies are available to operate our mechanisms at 120 or 240 volt AC. The model 3594 Bridge and Security Gate Mechanism is a 120 volt AC unit with an electro-mechanical brake. |
