Type of Bumping Post Application Choose
WK Light duty industrial siding, three car capacity, or less.
WD General Service, industrial tracks, switching yards,
no descending grades or hazards at end of track.
WDC Same as WD, but with curved striking face for passenger car couplers.
WG Frequent impacts requiring heavy duty bumper.
Inside buildings, switching yards, loading racks
WGC Same as WG, but with curved striking face for passenger cars.
WA Heaviest standard bumping post. Greatest impact absorbing.
WAC Same as WA, but with curved striking face for passenger cars.
WCT General service bumping post. Clamp design. No holes to drill in rails.
WCTS Same as WCT, but with spring loaded striking face
and anticlimb ribs for use with transit cars.
WH Special application, hydraulic cushion bumping post.
